In attendance:
Board members: Ralph Kosche, Bruce Baker, Valerie Cohen, John Ullman, Fred Maslan, Marni Rachmiel, Susan Howell, Karen Shaw, Adam Carlson, Carol Zander
Non board members: Larry Wydro, Larry Holm, Susan Colton

Karen announces that JoAnne Rudo will be leaving the board.

Susan announced that Jack Aldrich would also be leaving the board to focus on his health.

Following the announcement about Jack, Carol Zander mentioned that Suellen's cancer has come back and she has had to go in for surgery. She suggested that Suellen would really appreciate cards, especially funny ones. Karen will send cards to both Suellen and Jack on behalf of the board.

Karen - May come back to the board to set up a new English dance. Possibly looking at Swedish cultural center.

Ralph will be reviewing concert accounting system with Sandy.

Bruce - Update on SFS Folklife events
Tribute to silent voices going forward

Focus on Stan James for much of it, song circle for last 1/2 hr.

Other possibility - managing an acoustic stage will have to wait for next year.

Karen: Rob has said that Folklife is happy to have SFS run a showcase. SFS does programming, Folklife provides sound, etc.

Folklife has new Volunteer coordinator, could use some help with communication.

Bruce moves to have Philip replace Jack and have his term end next year.
